  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon (chopped and cooked crisp)
  • 4 cups broccoli florets (about 1 head)
  • 4 cups cauliflower florets (about 1 head)
  • 3/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds (salted)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a heavy-bottom skillet until crisp. Reserve some fat if desired.
  2. While cooking Turkey bacon, chop broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces, dice red onion, and crumble cheese.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, red onion, and cooked turkey bacon.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, salt, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Pour dressing over salad mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
