  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 eggroll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, jalapeños, green onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Lay an eggroll wrapper on a flat surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling diagonally across the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides toward the center, and roll tightly to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry eggrolls seam side down in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
