  • 400g flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 250g egg noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup beef stock or water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Boil water in a pot and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl: soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, chili flakes (if using), and beef stock.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated beef until browned on all sides; remove from the wok.
  5. In the same wok, stir-fry garlic, ginger, and broccoli for about 2–3 minutes until bright green.
  6. Return beef to the wok along with cooked noodles and pour in the prepared sauce; toss until evenly coated.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
