  • 115 g unsalted butter (softened to room temperature)
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 30 g granulated sugar
  • 30 g sprinkles
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 24 Hershey's kisses (unwrapped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Add brown sugar and continue mixing until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls using a cookie scooper; roll each ball in granulated sugar, sprinkles, or powdered sugar.
  7. Place on the baking sheet with space between each cookie and bake for 7-8 minutes.
  8. Press one unwrapped Hershey's kiss into each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
  9. Allow cooling for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
