  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled and cubed russet potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15–20 minutes).
  2. Drain potatoes well and mash until smooth using a potato masher or ricer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes with butter, cream, egg yolks, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix until creamy.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  5. Transfer potato mixture to a piping bag with a star tip and pipe small mounds onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
