  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until blended.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of your chosen Easter candies.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets and press remaining candies on top.
  8. Bake for about 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  9. Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
