  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 can (8 ounces) crescent rolls
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 24 mini sausages
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté onions with salt, garlic, and brown sugar for about 10-15 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and cut each into three skinny triangles (yielding 24 pieces).
  4. Slice cream cheese into 24 equal pieces.
  5. Assemble each roll: flatten a triangle, spread with cream cheese, add sautéed onions, place a mini sausage at the wide end, and roll up tightly.
  6. Whisk together egg, dijon mustard, and honey in a small bowl for the egg wash.
