  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cucumber, finely grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by whisking together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well; refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt with grated cucumber, dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in another bowl. Chill until ready to use.
  3. Grill the marinated chicken over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Warm tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Slice the grilled chicken and assemble tacos with tzatziki sauce and toppings of choice.
