Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (melted)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (chilled)
  • 1 cup white cooking chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan and set aside.
  2. For the filling, melt dark and milk chocolates with heavy cream in a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly before adding chilled butter; mix well.
  3. Pour the chocolate filling over the crust and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until set.
  4. Create the spiderweb topping by melting white cooking chocolate with heavy cream. Use a piping bag to pipe a spiral design on top of the tart and drag lines outward with a toothpick.
  5. Decorate with chocolate-covered almonds as edible spiders.
