  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper; spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Cook sliced sausage for 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque; remove from heat.
  4. Reduce heat to medium; melt butter in the skillet, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey and soy sauce; simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Return sausage, shrimp, and roasted broccoli to the skillet; toss to coat everything in the sauce. Heat through for about another 2 minutes.
