Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until combined. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine the swirl ingredients: brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter to create a sandy mixture.
  5. Spread the blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan; drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture on top and swirl gently using a butter knife.
  6. Bake for about 25–30 minutes or until edges are golden brown; let cool completely before icing.
  7. For the icing: Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over cooled blondies.
