  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 24 ounces brick-style cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Prepare springform pan by wrapping it with aluminum foil.
  3. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter to form the crust; press into the bottom of the pan.
  4. In another bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in sour cream, instant coffee powder, and eggs until just combined.
  5. Pour filling over the crust and bake in a water bath for about 60 minutes, until slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool gradually in the oven for an hour before refrigerating for at least four hours.
  7. Before serving, melt dark chocolate with whipping cream for topping.
