  • 12 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, shaved, shredded, or grated
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, and water. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese until well combined. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses before serving.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
