  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the donut pan with batter using a piping bag.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  7. Cool on a wire rack before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth; dunk cooled donuts in glaze.
