  • 2 pounds ground beef (80%-90% lean) or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • 23 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 23 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a loaf pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), panko breadcrumbs, broth, eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf in your prepared pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup (or BBQ sauce) with brown sugar and pour over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
