  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Melt the cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
  3. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup until coated.
  4. Layer half the peaches over melted butter in the baking dish. Pour batter on top without stirring, then layer remaining peaches.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set and edges are golden.
  6. For the drizzle, boil together additional butter and maple syrup for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature, drizzled with maple butter.
