1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup tomato sauce or salsa
Salt & pepper to taste
10 small taco shells (flour or corn)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add ground beef (or turkey/chicken), breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce; season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Fill each taco shell with the meat mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Stand them in the baking dish.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and tacos are crispy.
