  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 eggs (yolks separated from whites)
  • 1 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of cream of tartar

  2. Warm the milk until lukewarm and set aside.
  3. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form; set aside.

  5. Mix in melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
  6. Stir in flour and pumpkin puree, then gradually add remaining lukewarm milk.
  7. Gently fold in beaten egg whites until well combined.
