  • 1 French baguette
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 ounces whipped chive cream cheese
  • 4 ounces Nova lox salmon
  • ¼ red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Everything But the Bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives or scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Spread whipped chive cream cheese evenly over each toasted slice.
  3. Top with pieces of smoked salmon and thin red onion slices. Sprinkle with Everything But the Bagel seasoning and finish with chopped chives or scallions.
  4. Serve immediately on a platter.
