  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch pan with foil, lightly greased.
  2. In a medium saucepan on low heat, melt the butter and stir in cocoa powder. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until foamy. Add the cooled butter mixture and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before cutting.
  6. To decorate, fill a ziplock bag with melted white chocolate and pipe spider web designs on top.
