  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Combine eggs, softened butter, flour, and salt with the yeast mixture and knead until smooth; let rise covered for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  3. Prepare the filling by melting butter in a pan over medium heat; add minced garlic and cook for about 2 minutes before mixing in chopped herbs.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; brush with garlic herb filling and sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly.
  5. Roll tightly into a log shape; slice lengthwise and twist the halves together.
