  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the meatloaf ingredients until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the greased pan.
  4. For the sauce, combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to boil and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour half of the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Add remaining sauce on top, then continue baking for an additional 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Let rest before slicing.
