  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk (for glaze)
  • 2 tsp vanilla (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs with sour cream, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined; gently stir in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Fill greased donut pan cavities halfway with batter and bake for 10–12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth; dip each slightly cooled donut into the glaze.
