  • 2 ½ cups diced celery
  • 2 ½ cups diced onion
  • ½ cup mustard
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 28 ounces catsup
  • 60 small chicken hamburger buns
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large fry pan, brown the ground beef in three batches. As the first batch browns, add one-third of the diced onion and celery along with one-third of the flour. Once browned, transfer to a big soup pot and repeat for remaining batches.
  2. Combine all browned meat and vegetables in the soup pot. Add mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, catsup, and water.
  3. Allow the mixture to simmer for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors. Adjust seasonings as needed.
