Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 English cucumber
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 23 ounces chive and onion cream cheese (softened)
  • Fresh dill (optional)
  • Flake sea salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the English cucumber as thin as possible using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer.
  2. Place cucumber slices on paper towels, sprinkle with flake sea salt and pepper, and let rest for about 5 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  3. Spread the softened chive and onion cream cheese evenly over 4 slices of bread.
  4. Layer the rested cucumber slices on top of the cream cheese-covered bread, adding more seasoning if desired. Optionally sprinkle with fresh dill.
  5. Place the remaining 4 slices of bread on top, trim off crusts, and cut each sandwich into squares or triangles for serving.
