  • 4 ounces Kataifi (shredded fillo dough)
  • 7 ounces pistachio cream (or Nutella)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini sesame paste
  • 21 fresh strawberries
  • 5 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kataifi by crushing it into fine pieces and toasting it in melted butter until golden brown.
  2. Mix pistachio cream, tahini, and salt in a bowl. Combine with the toasted kataifi and let cool.
  3. Wash and quarter the strawberries, placing some at the bottom of serving cups.
  4. Melt dark chocolate; drizzle over strawberries and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  5. Layer the kataifi mixture on top of the strawberries and repeat.
  6. Top with whole strawberries dipped in chocolate and drizzle any remaining melted chocolate.
