  • 2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, dark brown sugar, minced garlic, seasoned salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place ribeye steaks in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over steaks to coat thoroughly. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove steaks from marinade and let them reach room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  5. Grill steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F (medium-rare).
  6. In a separate bowl, mix barbecue sauce with agave syrup, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and seasoned salt.
  7. Brush some glaze on each steak during the last minute of grilling. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
