Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups tonic water (not diet)
  • Lemon twists for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together boiling water and granulated sugar until dissolved.
  2. Stir in both portions of lemon juice and tonic water.
  3. Pour the mixture into a metal 9×13" pan and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  4. After freezing, scrape the mixture with a fork to fluff it up. Return to freezer and repeat every 30 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Serve in chilled glasses garnished with lemon twists.
