  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup whole pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with paper liners.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, sour cream, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans and spoon the batter into muffin cups about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 20–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
