Red White & Blue Stuffed Strawberries are a festive and visually stunning dessert that will wow your guests.   • 1 pint strawberries (washed)
  • 4 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp. almond extract (or vanilla)
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • Blueberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them well using a paper towel. Cut off the green tops to allow them to sit flat on your serving dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, almond extract, and confectioners’ sugar. Mix until creamy and smooth using a whisk or electric mixer.
  3. Cut an ‘X’ in the pointed end of each strawberry without cutting through completely.
  4. Fill a pastry bag or zip-lock baggie with the cheesecake filling and pipe it into each strawberry where you made the ‘X’.
  5. Top each filled strawberry with a blueberry to complete your festive treat.
