Instructions

  1. Warm milk and mix in yeast; let sit.
  2. Add egg, butter, and sugar; mix until combined.
  3. Incorporate flour and salt; knead until slightly sticky.
  4. Let dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled (about 30 minutes).
  5. Prepare filling by mixing butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ube jam.
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly.
  7. Roll tightly into a log; cut into equal pieces.
  8. Place rolls in a greased pan; let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  9. Pour heavy cream over rolls and bake at 350°F for 21–23 minutes.
  10. Prepare frosting by mixing ingredients until creamy; frost cooled rolls.
